Starting in September, commercial dive operators and system integrators will be able to run our Digital Diver Camera System (DDCS) viewing and recording software on a compatible Windows computer. This allows dive cam video to run within an existing topside or integrated inspection environment.

The release follows last month's look at the changing computing hardware behind commercial dive systems. It gives operators another way to configure DDCS topside while keeping the camera, tether architecture, and underwater performance unchanged.

In the new configuration, a rackmount interface manages the camera, tether, and sensor connections. The software automatically finds the DDCS camera on the network for viewing and recording.

For customers purchasing a complete DDCS system, the purpose-built portable controller remains our recommended configuration. It is supplied, configured, and validated as one complete package.
